A current shortage of glass bottles in the UK is being addressed after consortium Jigsaw won a contract to import and distribute bottles from Dubai.
The agreement sees Jigsaw, Allport Cargo Services (ACS) and CM Downton working together to handle 200 containers of glass bottles a month shipped from the Al Tajir manufacturing facility.
The containers will arrive into the country via Bristol, Southampton and Felixstowe ports and Jigsaw is responsible for managing the transport to customer sites.

ACS will handle customs clearance and transport to warehouses and CM Downton will control the storage.
