Palletline member Miniclipper Logistics has admitted volumes have not been hit as badly as expected by the COVID-19 pandemic but that companies without a warehousing side might struggle to survive.
Palletline has officially opened its Coventry hub, which acts as a consolidation point for its rapidly growing work for online retailer Amazon.
Pallet networks have so far failed to heed a call by Palletline to join it in reducing maximum pallet weights on tail-lift deliveries – though a number of them say they are considering the issue.
