Palletways member Sovereign Transport has hired a Hermes field manager as its new business sales executive. Paul Hanson joins the Liverpool-based operator after three years at Hermes, where he was responsible for more than 100 self-employed couriers. Hermes has revealed that each of its ParcelShops handled an average 60 parcels a week in the run up to Christmas, as more than 60,000 parcels were moved through the network during the festive period.
