Palletways member Sovereign Transport has hired a Hermes field manager as its new business sales executive.
Paul Hanson joins the Liverpool-based operator after three years at Hermes, where he was responsible for more than 100 self-employed couriers.
At Sovereign he will be in charge of drumming up and overseeing new business, reporting to commercial director Rachael Forshaw.
Hanson said: “It was easy to see the appeal of joining Sovereign Transport; from the vision of the managerial team to the company being a member of Palletways, which is renowned across the logistics sector for its industry-leading, game-changing technology.
