AIM Logistics is to open a new distribution centre (DC) in Evesham in August.
The new DC will include a two-storey office block; a 20,000ft² cold store with 10 loading bays; a two bay workshop with pit for in-house fleet maintenance; driver facilities and a truck wash.
AIM director Ismail Elmagdoub said: “Our consolidation and cross dock side of the business has soared over the past 18 months and this was the next progressive step for the business.
"We will be able to provide our customers with the very best facilities for their goods, something that leading retail suppliers demand.
“We have also recently seen some of our longstanding customers actively target sales growth to smaller businesses and wholesale sectors as margins to the major retailers are squeezed tighter year on year; we want to offer a logistical solution for all their needs.
"This facility will enable us to provide a pick, cross dock and a broader distribution service to every corner of the UK offering maximum flexibility and solutions for all our customers.”
