Training the industry’s instructors is key to solving its skills crisis and should not be overlooked, according to the RTITB. The training board said the industry is lacking skilled trainers as well as drivers and warehouse workers, and recently introduced new modules to its Instructor Academy. The new options in its training portfolio include fleet instructor and pedestrian pallet truck instructor training.
