Ryder Europe has purchased CV contract hire and fleet management specialist Euroway for an undisclosed sum. Euroway has a total fleet of 1,419 CVs, ranging from 3.5 tonners to tractor units, plus trailers. Daf is the dominant supplier to Euroway. In 2010, its combined divisions generated a combined turnover of about £22m and a pre-tax loss of circa £730,000. Norfolk haulier Foulger Transport has taken delivery of seven new Euro-5 Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks. The units join its 100-plus strong, predominantly Daf, fleet.
