Meachers Global Logistics saw a reduction in turnover and profit last year. The Hampshire-based company recorded a 1.9% drop in sales, from £25.5m to £25m for the year ending 31 May 2016. International Swiss-based freight and logistics business Kuehne + Nagel reaped the benefits of its long term growth strategy with record results in the 12 months to 31 December 2011. TNT Express saw a 13% drop in EMEA operating profit in the third quarter, despite a 3,2% turnover rise, due to “challenging trading conditions in Europe”.
