Whistl has become the first company to secure a postal contract with the Government of Northern Ireland which will see it process 20m items of mail a year. The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has pledged to take its fight to the courtroom after Royal Mail applied for a High Court injunction to prevent postal workers taking strike action later this month.
