Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has announced an extension to its warehousing and distribution contract with hygiene products manufacturer Kimberly-Clark Professional for a further three years. ND has been providing warehouse and distribution services at Kimberly-Clark Professional’s Flint site since 2000, which operates as the firm’s UK distribution centre. The 3PL also provides a separate integrated logistics service for the firm’s manufacturing operations at Flint, covering inbound transport, production planning, line-feed, materials handling, gatehouse control and waste management.

The threat of a tanker driver strike could now be averted, as the Unite union and fuel distribution companies reach agreement over a new set of proposals. Unite has also been given an extended industrial action mandate of 21 May to allow it time to discuss the new proposals with its 1,200 tanker driver members.
