The Green Group has successfully integrated into its business the Worksop warehousing division of collapsed Seafield Logistics that it acquired from administrators in July. Pall-Ex non-executive director Geoff Gillo has stepped down from the board after completing his three-year term with the business.
Notts-haulier Seafield Logistics has won a two and a half year contract with floor screed manufacturer Lafarge Gyvlon. The win adds to Seafield’s contract with Gyvlon to distribute its products to Ireland, which it has held since July 2011. The new contract will also see Seafield add five vehicles and trailers to its bulk tanker fleet. Pall-Ex has confirmed C Butt will be taking on the postcode currently run by Mainland, following the latter’s merger with Knights of Old. Kettering-based Knights of Old is a member of the Palletforce network, while Northampton’s Mainland runs in the Pall-Ex network. The businesses merged last year.
