Ceva Logistics has been awarded a three-year contract with tool manufacturer Snap-on Tools UK. The $8m (£4.9m) deal will see it provide transport for Snap-on’s UK franchises. It involves making collections from its two product warehouses in Kettering and delivering products to Ceva’s warehouses for sortation, as well as unattended deliveries into secure premises. Brit European Transport is investing in a fleet of 24 new dual-fuel vehicles to service a contract with long-term customer and construction equipment manufacturer JCB.
