Wincanton has secured two new distribution contracts: a five-year deal with military equipment supplier General Dynamics UK and a three-year contract renewal with Adidas. Fuel distributors and the Unite union are poised for a fourth day of negotiations over tanker drivers’ training, safety and employment terms. BT Fleet has signed a four-year deal to manage a fleet of 1,200 vehicles for gas distributor Wales & West Utilities. The contract involves management of Wales & West Utilities’ light and heavy commercial vehicles as well as plant, and also involves management of its vehicle suppliers.
