Palletline has recruited Peter Stewart (L), Amy Liston and Peter Carter as its new GM for business development.

Palletline has completed its newly created business development team line-up, welcoming Amy Liston, Robert Carter and Peter Stewart to the pallet network.

Liston was most recently business development manager for Palletline member HMT Shipping. She will cover the Midlands region.

Carter has worked as a general manager at Norbert Dentressangle, TDG and Derek Cooper Transport. He also held a senior role with AAG Logistics. He will head up the East of England.

Stewart, who has more than three decades of experience in the road transport industry, most recently held roles in sales and branch management at Nippon Express.

The team will provide regional support to Palletline’s central sales and marketing team, which is headed by sales and marketing director Martin Rantle.

Rantle said: “Following outstanding growth during 2013 it’s the perfect time for Palletline to invest a position of strength. We’ve brought on board a host of new talent to support our continued driver for growth.”

A business relationship manager is expected to join the network shortly.

The network completed a new-look senior management team with the appointment of Iain Brown as operations director last autumn.

It has just gone live with an innovative direct trunking service.
