City Link is to offer a two-hour window for B2C deliveries in a bid to increase its first time delivery rate and boost service levels. The parcel carrier, which was bought by turnaround investment firm Better Capital last year, will provide consumers with an estimated two-hour slot for delivery, and the option of rearranging it if they’re elsewhere. UK Mail saw its profit tumble by more than 80% in the six months ending 30 September 2015, after its relocation to a new hub and “teething issues” with the facility’s technology.
