Leading fuel card supplier Keyfuels has added a further 279 fuel sites, meaning its customers now have access to over 1,790 sites nationwide. The network expansion includes 57 new sites suitable for both HGV and LCV vehicles, four new truckstops specifically for HGV, as well as over 30 new sites in Scotland. FairFuelUK is calling on operators to lobby their MPs to attend a parliamentary inquiry that will look at alternative ways of reducing emissions without the need for ultra-low emission zones (ULEZ) and fuel taxes.

MPs voted against a suspension on the proposed 3ppl fuel duty rise yesterday (12 November), despite pressure from Labour MPs, Tory backbench campaigners and lobbying from FairFuelUK (FFUK). A Labour-led motion to suspend the proposed increase in January to at least April was defeated 282 votes to 234.
