Think Logistics has got off to a flying start this year with several major operators lining up to deliver workshops or offer mentoring support for students keen to learn more about the logistics sector.
Think Logistics is looking for logistics firms to offer over 90 internships or work placements for students around the UK between February and August this year. Employers taking part in the programme last year were so impressed with their interns that 75% said they would have been happy to offer them a full time job.
With schools and colleges closed and businesses having to withdraw volunteers Career Ready has had to put its 2020 programme of face to face activities on hold. To enable students to benefit from interactions with volunteers and mentors Career Ready has launched an online Skills Festival.
