Lime supplier Lhoist UK has awarded a new long-term distribution contract to Abbey Logistics Group. The operator will deliver lime products to Lhoist’s customers in the construction, waste water, drinking water, food, agriculture, flue gas treatment, chemistry and soil stabilisation industries. The contract will cover deliveries from Lhoist’s quarries in Hindow, Derbyshire and Kirkby Stephen, Derbyshire, using a core fleet of tankers in two different sizes.
