Transaid, the international transport charity, said it had secured vital funding to help protect supply chain workers in Zambia from exposure to Covid-19.
Transaid’s live fund-raising events will make a welcome return with the Way of the Roses coast-to-coast cycle challenge on 24 to 26 September 2021. The event, which is sponsored by UKWA, will be the overseas transport development charity’s sixth UK-based cycle challenge. There are 40 spaces available on the ride, which will include two days cycling over 170 miles and two overnight stays. The registration fee is £99 and the minimum fund-raising target is £1,000.
