Associated Cold Stores & Transport (ACS&T) felt the benefit of an upturn in trade due to the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee last year, with both turnover and profit up year-on-year. Suttons Transport Group parent Thomas Cradley Holdings saw its UK turnover jump almost 10% in the year ended April 2012, from £75.4m to £82.9m. Crewe, Cheshire-based Brit European Transport made a dramatic return to profit during 2011, recording a pre-tax profit of £334,000 compared to pre-tax loss of £453,000 the previous year.
