Howard Tenens has acquired a new warehouse in Cheshire as part of its continued expansion into the North of England.
The Gloucester-based operator is leasing a 177,000 ft² warehouse on Winsford Industrial Estate near Crewe, as part of the firm's plans to expand its operations northwards within the next five years. The site, which brings its UK total warehousing space to more than 3 million ft², will accommodate up to 40 vehicle movements a day.
In March the firm revealed plans to open a depot in Tilbury, Essex and to expand its fleet of dual-fuel gas and diesel trucks from 25 to 30.
