The UK branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe has renewed its warehousing contract with Yusen Logistics by five years.

The contract sees the operator receive, store and despatch products such as display screens, air conditioners and heating systems from Yusen’s 300,000 ft² Milton Keynes Tilbrook site.

Yusen handles inbound movements of sea containers as well as trailers, alongside dispatching customer orders from small parcels to full loads, while Norbert Dentressangle will distribute products to customers across the UK and Ireland.

Mitsubishi Electric European logistics manager Mark Foscoe said: “Yusen Logistics have given us a very good and flexible service, handling a wide variety of products. They’ve developed a range of handling and storage techniques in the warehouse and also give us the ability to take orders late into the day and still meet next day delivery requirements.”

In March, Mitsubishi Electric Europe renewed its distribution contract with Norbert Dentressangle by five years.
