Wincanton has confirmed that it has taken over the Aggregate Industries (AI) Concrete Products Division work from Eddie Stobart Logistics (ESL), as exclusively revealed by mototransport.co.uk last month.
The pay logistics firms award agency staff has been brought into sharp focus after the GMB launched a legal claim against four companies involved in the operation of Marks & Spencer’s DC in South Marston, Swindon.
The GMB union has held a protest outside a Marks and Spencer retail store over the rates of pay awarded to agency staff at the retailer’s Swindon DC, which was operated until January by Wincanton and is now run by DHL Supply Chain.
