Subcontractors for failed intermodal container haulier Catalyst Road and Rail Services have been handed a lifeline after Deben Transport stepped in to take on some of the work. MT Top 100 company Deben Transport has ceased trading, with an administrator expected to be appointed later today.
The acquisition of administration-hit Elite Transport Services pushed Deben Transport into the red last year.
Failed container haulier Deben Transport owed unsecured creditors close to £2.4m when it was placed into administration on 13 April, as well as more than £1.4m to HMRC.
