Gregory Distribution has renewed its farm collection contract with Dairy Crest at Davidstow in Cornwall.

The new contract, which commences on 2 December, is for a period of three years.

In a statement the company says: “This renewal is a reflection of the continued commitment by all Gregory staff involved in the Dairy Crest contract to deliver the excellent service provided to our customer”.

Resulting from this award, Gregory will be investing in a new fleet of vehicles and trailers which will be delivered into the operation over the next 12 months.

At the start of this month the operator revealed it would be re-fleeting,  and replacing two-thirds of its vehicles with Scania trucks. This will see 300 units  delivered to the Devon-based company during the next three-years.
