Bibby Distribution has bought five new custom-designed powder tankers in a bid to cut the cost of transporting food and ingredients.
The Feldbinder tankers, each able to transport 63,000m3, will transport powdered foodstuffs such as starches and sugars across the country and will be operating primarily out of Bibby’s Corby campus.
Bibby Distribution business unit director Vaughan Pendergest said: “Our food and ingredient operations continue to expand rapidly, so by investing in additional custom-built tankers, our customers will benefit from greater savings, flexibility and reliability.”
Bibby Distribution recently inked an early renewal on its Ultraframe contract.
