Staff at AIT Home Delivery are being Christmas elves and delivering festive joy by providing new toys to thousands of children in Northamptonshire this year.
Destinations include the children’s ward at Northampton General Hospital and Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough.
The two-person delivery specialist is also going above and beyond by making seasonal deliveries in support of Northampton Town Football Club’s Christmas Toy Campaign, which also benefits The Children’s Trust in Northamptonshire.
The company has generously offered its services to safely transport the thousands of toys donated by staff members, Cobblers fans and local businesses as part of the club’s annual toy collection at Sixfields Stadium.
Samuel Scott, sales director at AIT Home Delivery, said: “We are delighted to partner with Northampton Town Football Club this winter for their Christmas Toy Campaign. It’s particularly heartwarming to have the opportunity help spread some Christmas joy within our local communities and we are so pleased we can give our support.”
Vicki Barber, head of people and engagement, added: “Our generous teammates at all of our AIT Home Delivery locations across the country have not only donated gifts but are also proud to provide the necessary transport to ensure these toys reach children in Northamptonshire and beyond.”
In addition, players from Northampton Town Football Club joined staff to hand over piles of presents destined to bring holiday cheer.
