Howard Tenens Logistics’ Sunbury site has been awarded the Soil Association Certification.
Achieving the Soil Association accreditation is part of the company’s wider strategy to reduce its carbon emissions in line with the government’s Net Zero target of 2050.
The company’s certification recognises its efforts to minimise its environmental impact and promote sustainable land use, as well as ensuring that its services meet the highest standards of sustainability.
Announcing the certification this week, the company said: “At Howard Tenens Logistics, we understand that our business has an impact on the environment and are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices.

“This certification is not only a significant achievement for us but also a reassurance for our customers, partners, and stakeholders that we are committed to operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.”
Under its carbon reduction strategy Howard Tenens Logistics has committed to achieving net zero as soon as practicable and was one of the first logistics companies to sign up to Logistics UK’s Route to Net Zero Pledge. On its current trajectory the company expects to reach net zero by 2045.
