Howard Tenens Logistics has invested in six new Krone Box Liner FS10 skeletal trailers in response to the growth of its container logistics business.
The Stroud-based logistics firm specialises in the retail, FMCG, automotive, and packaging sectors and runs a fleet of over 220 vehicles and 350 trailers from 20 depots across England and Wales.
Alan Pellow, Howard Tenens Logistics national fleet and compliance manager, said: “We have seen significant growth in the number of enquiries for port logistics contracts. The pandemic and Brexit have created a lot of opportunities, typically for three to five-year contracts.
“We rented some trailers initially to meet this demand but ultimately decided to buy some more as that is more economical in the long term.
“The Krone trailers came highly recommended by some friends of mine who work in logistics. We asked Krone to quote, and they were very competitive on price.”

Pellow added: “Our drivers absolutely love them. The decals and instructions are really easy to understand and follow. We were also impressed with the paint finish.”
