Gregory Distribution Limited (GDL) has placed 50 job roles at risk of redundancy after the collapse of customer British Ceramic Tile.
Devon-based British Ceramic Tile claimed to be the largest manufacturer of ceramic and glass tiles in the UK.
It operated from three sites and has its headquarters in Devon and was placed into administration at the end of January.
Angela Butler, GDL’s MD, said: “We will redeploy people wherever possible and give staff every assistance in finding new jobs.

“We very much regret the need for any redundancies as we truly value our loyal and committed people, but it has been necessary to consolidate the position of the company and its remaining 2,700 employees.”
The GDL Group comprises Gregory Distribution (Holdings), Gregory Distribution, Hayton Coulthard Transport and ARR Craib Transport.
