Fortec--New-Livery-2

Fortec Distribution Network has rolled out a major rebrand to underline a new era for the firm as part of the Pall-Ex Group and to mark its 25th anniversary.

The new look reflects Pall-Ex Group’s arrow branding, while keeping Fortec’s blue and green colour scheme.

The livery can now be seen across the Northamptonshire-based network’s full fleet of double-deck, straight-frame HGVs and smaller C&D vehicles.

The rebrand also cuts Fortec’s and its members’ costs, as its former livery required bespoke colours and specially made materials.

The network said the new design saves around £2,000 to £3,000 per vehicle, reduces wastage from the fabrics used for curtain livery and enables members to use their preferred livery supplier.

Kevin Buchanan, Pall-Ex Group chief executive, said: “We are excited to refresh the brand which will support Fortec being truly recognised in the palletised freight sector.

“This change underlines our growth as a group and positions Fortec as a strong competitor in the market, both nationally and internationally, via new technology and our well-established partners in mainland Europe.

“It also underlines our commitment to our members, who can now engage with multiple livery companies to obtain the most competitive quotes and update their fleets with their shareholder status via new logos in a cost-effective way."

He added: “It is essential for us to realign the Fortec brand and underline the benefits of our partnership, while still retaining Fortec’s own established identity."

Fortec member Bridgetime was the first to receive the new-look livery. MD Robbie Evans said: “Firstly, I think the new branding is fantastic. It really strengthens the Fortec image as we move into our next chapter as a network.

“I am proud to be the first member entrusted with the new livery, is it always a huge honour and I cannot wait to see many more take to the road over the coming months.”

Buchanan said: “This is a big year for the Fortec Distribution Network as we celebrate 25 years of operations in 2021 and we look forward to seeing our new look out on the road.

“Our collective group ethos this year is Achieving Excellence Together, and the livery is just the start of new developments we have in the pipeline for Fortec in 2021.”
