Fortec’s former general manager of operations Adrian Bradley has joined Pall-Ex as director of operations.

Bradley worked at the top of Fortec with David Spong (pictured), who remains at the network in the role of network director.

The two stepped up to run the network after the departure of Marcus Fischer and Neil Hodgson in 2014.

They are currently working on the launch of new network Principle Pallets.

Pall-Ex group managing director Kevin Buchanan told Motortransport.co.uk that Bradley had joined the business because it offered him “better career opportunities”.

He added: "Adrian is widely respected in the industry and has done a great job at Fortec. He joined us because he believes in our plans for the future and is excited to join the team.”

Bradley has taken over from Mark Tapper, who Buchanan said had left the business “by mutual agreement”.

At Fortec, Bradley’s role has been filled by former City Link manager Chris Dennigan.

Dennigan was business performance and improvement manager at Fortec, and also spent more than 11 years as a general manager at City Link.

Pall-Ex has also recently appointed former XPO Logistics IT business solutions manager Chris Holland as its director of IT, and member-haulier Premier Logistics' sales director Mark Steel as its new director of sales and marketing.

Buchanan said: "Mark had a number of offers on the table and we were keen to have him on board. Mark was at the heart of the growth that Premier achieved and really understands how that is done."
