DHL Supply Chain has renewed its contract with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) with an extended brief to manage the car maker’s inbound supply chain for its new manufacturing site in Slovakia.
The deal cements a 10-year partnership between the two companies and means DHL will now support JLR as it adapts its operations for the next generation of premium customised cars and the adoption of electrification.
DHL said the supply chain and sequencing process was becoming increasingly complex and investment in digitalisation and data analysis would enable intelligent planning and decision making.
