DB Schenker has expanded its road network hub in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, promising "agressive growth plans" in the UK.
The UK arm of German firm Schenker expanded the site after the contract logistics work carried out there was moved to a new site in Tamworth.
Schneker has increased capacity and improved security at the 100,000ft² hub, as well as increasing the number of loading bays there from 19 to 21.
Chief executive Helgi Ingolfsson: “We have aggressive growth plans and this expansion will enable us to handle the vastly increased volume of cargo.
"We have a large team based here, with vast knowledge we also have many value-added e-business services we can offer clients to improve the efficiency of their supply chain,” he added.
