Ceva Logistics has renewed its contract with UK Power Networks for five years.
The operator has held the deal with UKPN since 2009, which gives Ceva responsibility for the storage and distribution of its cable, plant and other materials.
Ceva is also responsible for the disposal of used electricity meters and UKPN's flood defence system, which it constructs at strategic locations to prevent damage at short notice.
The deal comes with a requirement that Ceva be able to deliver materials to Lonodon within an hour and materials to anywhere else in the country within four hours.
Michael O'Donoghue, Ceva's executive vice president for the UK, Ireland and Nordics, said it had maintained a 99.8% on time, in full delivery record since the start of its work with UKPN.
He added Ceva would be "initiating several new innovative proposals on UKPN's behalf notably implementing Paragon software across the business to enable the team to maximize routes in order to maximize resources, reduce mileage and fuel consumption and positively impact on the contract's carbon emissions".
"It is a great testament to the team's efforts that we have successfully renewed for a further five years," he said.
