Ceva Logistics has invested $20m (£12.4m) in boosting its fleet of trucks and trailers in the UK.
The vehicles, comprising 120 Euro-5 MAN TGS 6x2 units (pictured) and 40 Euro-5 MAN TGM 4x2 curtainsided rigids with day cabs, have been taken under derogation.
They will have all entered operation by the end of the year, alongside 180 Lawrence David trailers.
All vehicles have been fitted with MAN Fleet Management systems and will be used to make deliveries for Ceva’s consumer and retail operations.
Michael O'Donoghue, executive vice president, UK, Ireland and Nordics said: “We are delighted to make this investment in our ground transport operation. It increases our size and scale and signals our optimism in the UK marketplace."
The operator opened its third global centre of excellence at its Ashby-de-la-Zouch UK HQ in September.
