Renault Trucks UK and Ireland has announced Carlos Rodrigues as its MD with effect from 1 October.
The role is a newly created one, as more recently Renault and Volvo were overseen by Arne Knaben, the MD of Volvo Group UK.
Rodrigues was previously chief financial officer (CFO) at Volvo Group Trucks UK. Prior to this he was: director Renault Trucks Business Area Internal Audit; CFO Renault Trucks Commercial; vice-president EMEA Retail Development Business Control and CFO Volvo Group.
His appointment follows the decision to separate Volvo Group Trucks into their traditional Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks brands in the UK & Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Italy and France.
The new structure will come into place on the same day that Rodrigues becomes MD
