Grimsby, Lincolnshire food logistics specialist ACS&T has extended its contract with Isle of Bute based chicken products supplier Delta Foods by a further three years.

The contract extension, which begins in November, involves storage and distribution to wholesalers nationwide of a range of brands including Delta, Malov and Kingarth.

A spokeswoman for ACS&T said the Delta Foods operation would be carried out at its Wolverhampton site, but declined to say what volumes were involved or what the contract extension was worth.

Delta Foods national account manager Andy Wallace said ACS&T had provided “great service” since the two firms started working together, in October 2006.

“They have provided warehousing and distribution services for us for the past few years and we know we can rely on them to deliver to our high standards,” he said.

“Efficient distribution of product is absolutely crucial to our business. ACS&T are a vital link for us and we are looking forward to continuing to develop our working relationship well in to the future," Wallace added.
