An explosion in demand for home food deliveries has led to a new partnership between Yodel and retailer Boroughbox.
The deal sees Yodel providing a choice of options for home-bound customers wanting doorstep delivery convenience.
The delivery company said country-wide restrictions had led to a boom in online grocery shopping, with a report from Kantar showing take-home grocery sales rose by 9.4% during the 12 weeks to 4 October and online sales soaring 76% compared to October 2019.
The tie-in came as Yodel announced it was recruiting 2,950 roles this Christmas in order to bolster resource during its busiest period of the year.
