Chris Rigg, chief executive of Mandata said: “The acquisition of Eureka is a step towards achieving our goal of becoming the go-to provider of best-in-class transport management software in the UK and Europe.

“Built up over the past decade to being one of Ireland’s foremost providers of transport management systems, Eureka’s product offering supports Mandata’s mission to help road transport operators succeed in all market conditions.”

Doyle said he and Power were “delighted” their firm was now part of the Mandata Group and he added that the business would continue operating from Rosslare, with all customer contact points at Eureka remaining.

The deal was backed by equity firm Tenzing.
