Witham, Essex-based Orb Logistics, the succesor to Task Force Movement & Storage, has gone into administration.
The Palletline member, which held O-licences to run 62 vehicles and 36 trailers from sites in Witham and Birmingham, appointed administrator Leonard Curtis on 28 July, Motortransport.co.uk can reval.
The company, formerly known as Mission Logistics, filed a name change to Orb Logistics at Companies House in January of this year. The move came after its directors completed a pre-pack administration. This saw Mission Logistics purchase the assets of the collapsed Task Force Movement & Storage, as well as the trading name of the business, a day after the latter went into administration in August 2013.
Directors Stephen Allen and Carl Bowcock could not be reached for comment.
Task Force Movement & Storage was one of the firms appointed to take on part of the postcode area for Palletline Logistics (Midlands), which went into administration in July 2013.
It is listed on the Palletline website as covering the CM B6 postcodes for the network.
Palletline was unable to comment at the time of publication.
