Carlisle-based Murrays Pallet Logistics has entered administration.
The company was a member of pallet network Palletways, but according to a spokesman the pallet service will continue because a network member has stepped in to handle the postcode.
“The Palletways network services previously provided by Murrays will be picked-up by Beaches Logistics. We look forward to working with Beaches Logistics to deliver customer service excellence and maximize the advantages of Palletways membership,” the spokesman said
Murrays Pallet Logistics received a formal warning from TC Beverley Bell in 2015, after it failed to declare the existence of a CVA when applying for an O-licence.
Its directors had entered into a pre-pack deal to buy RJ Murray & Son and TC Bell voiced concerns about the way in which it had applied for a new licence.
Administrators Armstrong Watson did not respond.
