Norbert Dentressangle has signed a new seven year deal with online retailer Missguided, a move that will see ND take control of Missguided’s current fulfilment centre in Salford on 30 March.

Some 250 Missguided staff will transfer to ND as of next week as a result of the deal, with ND set to handle the retailer’s entire logistics operation, including marshalling, packing despatch and returns.

The contract will also see ND take control of the retailers’ international fulfilment operations, and includes the construction of a new 250,000 ft² fulfilment centre in Manchester (with one million ft² of racking space by way of its mezzinine structure) set to open in the first half of 2016.

Founded in 2009, Missguided currently has a presence the UK, US, France and Australia, but is looking to expand further.

Missguided founder Nitin Passi said: “Norbert Dentressangle were the obvious partner for us as we continue to grow our business. In addition to their proven capability in retail, they have also demonstrated a highly flexible and genuinely strategic, long-term partnership approach and we very much look forward to working with them going forward.”

Missguided join the likes of ASOS, House of Fraser and the Shop Direct Group in ND’s stable of multi-channel retailer clients.
