Menzies has signed a contract extension with vehicle windscreen repair and replacement firm Belron following a competitive tender process.

As part of the new distribution contract, Menzies will deliver replacement automotive glass and materials to Belron’s network of Autoglass and Laddaw branches across the UK.

The partnership began in 2018 and the transport firm currently delivers more than 100,000 replacement screens for Belron every month, with the products arriving before 7am five days a week.

Menzies added that under the new extension, it will replace the current fleet, including truck-mounted Moffett forklifts.

Andy Coxon, business development manager at Menzies, said: “We are delighted that Belron has extended our existing four-year relationship and we look forward to continuing to support its UK operations.

“We have delivered a consistent level of service and look forward to introducing many new initiatives to further demonstrate the value of the partnership that exists between our two businesses.”

Menzies recently announced its intention to become net zero for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2035.
