Culina Group business Morgan McLernon has appointed Shane Kilpatrick as its new commercial director.
Kilpatrick joined the Ireland-based business from DFDS Logistics, where he he was sales director for two and a half years, and has also worked at the Mongomery Transport Group.
Kilpatrick said that while the challenges the industry faces are "immense", "so are the opportunities that are available to Morgan McLernon being part of the Culina Group".
He added: “I believe that together we can offer our customers the most comprehensive solution to their logistics requirements with exceptional levels of customer service. We have a business we can be truly proud of."
Morgan McLernon joined the Culina Group last May when it entered into what the businesses described as a joint venture.
