DHL Tradeteam has named Bill Bacon as MD, replacing James Gill.
Bacon (pictured) was formerly MD of DHL Supply Chain’s automotive division and has held various roles across the retail and automotive sectors since he joined the company in 2001.
Gill has become chief financial officer of DHL Supply Chain UK and Ireland.
Bacon will oversee the drinks logistics firm’s on- and off-trade networks, which encompass 30 operations with more than 2,000 employees, and run 600 vehicles. He will report directly to DHL Supply Chain’s UK and Ireland CEO, Paul Dyer.
Bacon said: “I look forward to the challenge of growing DHL Tradeteam’s service offering in the UK and bringing innovation to our clients, at a time of change in the drinks industry.”
