Wincanton has won a three year contract with Coca-Cola to run the confectioner’s warehouse in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. The company updated investors that it had performed well in the first quarter of its current financial year, despite slipping container volume.
LPG supplier AvantiGas has extended its partnership with Wincanton, extending its contract by five years in a £30m deal. Wincanton runs a 40-vehicle fleet, from seven sites across the UK for AvantiGas, distributing LPG to commercial and domestic consumers. Driver numbers ranging from 56 during peak winter months to between 30 and 40 during the summer.
