Delivery Solutions (Delsol) has landed a public sector delivery deal. The three-year contract under the All Wales Postal and Courier Services Agreement follows the Caernarfon-based firm’s successful bid to join the Hazchem Network earlier this year. ACS&T has signed a new five-year contract extending its work for Italian food manufacturer Ticco Foods. The firm, which runs two Ticco-liveried trucks, will receive inbound goods at its Wolverhampton depot from suppliers in the UK and Italy, create consolidated loads and deliver them to customers nationwide in the food service sector – primarily restaurants and high street retailer cafes, wholesalers and brokers, said ACS&T MD, Malcolm Johnstone (pictured, right). Featherstone, West Yorkshire-based vehicle operator Brian Yeardley Continental has said it is “very disappointed” that new Euro-6 trucks cannot be delivered by some vehicle suppliers in the UK yet.
