BCA

BCA Marketplace has opened a new de-fleet operation in Doncaster, specialising in pre-delivery inspection, in-life fleet management and end-of-life refurbishment.

The 12-acre centre enhances the company’s national network of refurbishment and auction centres and creates more capacity as volumes continue to rise in the used car market.

It will handle around 9,000 vehicles a year and support contracts with manufacturers and large fleets nationally.

The company recently announced a strategic expansion across the UK to add capacity to the network, which has seen the integration of the recently acquired Scottish Motor Auction Group (SMA) business.

In a statement to investors issued last month, BCA said its automotive business, previously Stobart Automotive, is now responsible for one in five finished vehicle movements in the UK.
