Speed-Welshpool

Logistics firm Speed Welshpool has extended its partnership with mineral water and soft drinks supplier Radnor Hills for another two years.

Radnor Hills, which is looking to expand into the European market, said Speed Welshpool’s strong network, via its membership in Palletways, had helped seal the deal.

Powys-based Speed Welshpool has worked with Radnor Hills since July 2012, handling over 70 pallets a day for the company. The firm, which joined Palletways in 2008, employs 50 staff and has a 15-strong fleet of vehicles handling around 100,000 pallets a year.

Speed Welshpool MD, George Edwards, said “Radnor Hills has been a loyal customer of ours and we are delighted to be working with them for another two years. Their long term commitment to Speed and Palletways is testament to the leading service we can offer them. It is very good news for our business and fits in well with our vision to be the natural choice and leading carrier in the area.”

Gemma Morris, Radnor Hills’ logistics manager said: “Speed Welshpool offers an excellent service. The company has a strong network, innovative IT systems and excellent customer service, which is why we’ve decided to renew our contract with them. Thanks to its ties with the Palletways network, which offers delivery services to 20 European countries, our collaboration with Speed Welshpool also enables us to explore new market opportunities in Europe.”
