The UK’s pallet networks have made a host of new appointments for 2015.
With Palletline having named former ARR Craib group distribution director Graham Leitch as its new MD recently, the United Pallet Network (UPN) has followed suit and made two key appointments of its own.
Jayne Lowndes has joined as regional director after spending 12 years with UK Pallets, most recently as network development manager.
Andrew Knowles, previously operations director at Fortec and part of the executive team that left that business last summer, has joined UPN as regional director too.
David Brown, director of UPN, said following volume growth of 30% during the past year, bringing in the new recruits was central to its development strategy.
The Fortec Distribution Network has, itself, also made the second appointment to its new management team.
David Spong has been promoted to the role of general manager commercial, in support of the recently appointed general manager of operations Adrian Bradley. Spong was regional commercial manager at Fortec.
